My Story

My name literally means sea & sun

The name Sea & Sun Wellness is deeply personal to me. It's more than a business name—it's a reflection of who I am. My name, Marisol, combines the Spanish words Mar (Sea) and Sol (Sun). The "&" represents the connection between the two and symbolizes the harmony of nature, wellness, and simple living. Every product I create is inspired by that same balance.

Sea & Sun Wellness wasn't created overnight. It began years ago as a personal passion to make gentle, effective products for myself and my family. As a permanent makeup artist for over 8 years, I started creating my own tattoo healing balm to help my clients care for their freshly treated skin. Before long, clients were coming back not just for their touch-ups, but asking for more of my balm and wondering what else I could create to support their skincare routines.

That curiosity inspired me to deepen my knowledge through skincare formulation courses, extensive research, and years of testing and refining my recipes until they met the standards I set for myself. What began with one healing balm gradually grew into a handcrafted collection of soaps and skincare made with the same care and attention I would give my own family.

Today, every Sea & Sun Wellness product is still handcrafted in small batches using thoughtfully selected botanicals, nourishing oils, and simple, honest ingredients. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is made just to fill a shelf. Each recipe is created with intention, quality, and care.

I believe skincare doesn't have to be complicated to be effective. It should nourish your skin with ingredients you can recognize and trust.
